The experiences of this life can sometimes be quiet daunting and can also create all sorts of emotions, and this is a fact that we all have to deal with, but how we deal with the circumstances we face, will determine where our faith lies. Most often we tend to try and resolve issues ourselves and of course there is nothing wrong with this, but I believe as a child of God, we have the right to come into His presence and consult with our heavenly Father and ask Him for strength to overcome every situation we find ourselves in.
He has given us the means to overcome every situation and all we have to really do is add faith to the equation and live out our lives in the knowledge that Jesus has overcome all things for and on our behalf. So today, we are encouraged not to look at our problems, but to remind ourselves of who we are in Christ. We must acknowledge Jesus first, acknowledge the power of the Holy Spirit that dwells on the inside of each one of us this day and do so before we give recognition to the very thing we are faced with. This is not denial, rather, this is faith in action. Faith in God and in His word strengthens the inner man of those who believe and when trails and tribulation, hardships and difficulties come our way, we hold on to the truth that is Jesus and confess this truth over ourselves every day.
So, let us choose to rise up above our problems and look to Jesus. I have found when my eyes are fixed on Him, then those things that seem to be big, grow strangely dim in the site of His glory. 2 Thes 1:12 We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
