So you are going through some issues right now and you are not sure what to do about it? Have to make some decisions and nothing seems to be working out for you? Got to get some answers and even the Lord does not seem to be speaking right now? Does this sound like your situation? Well, welcome to the club. Actually, I not trying to be funny, but there are so many people who are going through pretty much the same as you might be right now that I have decided to write something about it as a means to encourage you.
The Word of God tells us, in John 16;33 "I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” From this, we have to know that Jesus said, we will also experience trails and suffering as he did, but he also left us with the promise that He has "Overcome the world". The fact that Jesus said this, really blessed my heart because we all face trails of various kinds, and these affect us in different ways, but the key is not to look at the problem, but to see the solution.
I have found when I am faced with issues that are beyond my reach, confessing that Jesus has over come every situation, stirs my faith into accepting this truth and in turn, I have seen this gives me the strength and courage I need to press on regardless, and I am able to do this simply because Jesus has already made me victorious. The end result is simply this, I cannot lose, Even in the midst of a battle, I have already overcome. We have to see ourselves from His perspective and confess with our mouths that we are victorious because Jesus made as more than conquerors.
Remember, our lives are hidden in Christ and because of this, our worship of the Most High God remains pure. We do not allow ourselves to be affected by our circumstances as we place our trust in His divine ability. This action of faith forms part of our worship and as we continue to press in, we begin to look past our present position (in the natural) and see the complete and finished work of the cross.
So come with me as we journey on together, holding on to the promises of God, which were given to us through His Son, as our act of worship we continue doing so until Jesus returns. Friend, remember, we are not moved but what we see, but rather, by what we know. As Paul wrote and said, "If God is for us, who can be against us"
Lift up your heads my friend and face today knowing that you are more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ our Sovereign Lord and Savior.
