Knowledge - Understanding - Revelation

August 29, 2018
Knowledge: facts, information, and skills acquired through experience or education; the theoretical or practical understanding of a subject.

Understanding: the ability to understand something; comprehension.

Revelation: 1) a surprising and previously unknown fact that has been disclosed to others. 2) the divine or supernatural disclosure to humans of something relating to human existence

I can acquire knowledge through education for example, but this does not necessarily mean that I have gained any understanding. For example, I might spend time learning at a Bible school or Seminary about Jesus Christ and God's love for mankind, but this does not mean that I know him. It is only in the "understanding" that comes through an intimate relationship that we can truly comprehend and declare with confidence that we have gained (First hand) knowledge of who Jesus is and the Christ life we now live becomes the revelation of what He knew about us all along.

The more we understand, the more enlightened we become. Prov 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. The respect for God is the beginning of knowing who He is. Prov 2:6  For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. Friends, it is only out of knowing Him that we understand who He truly is. Oh the joy of knowing him. When our understanding is opened, He comes into our hearts like a flood and separates us from the chaff and demonstrates the person, the Christ in the revelation of our understanding.

Prov 18:15  The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge, for the ears of the wise seek it out. It is the purpose of seeking God that He is revealed and understood and it is out of revelation that knowledge is strengthened.

Isa 11:2 The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him— the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the LORD... The Son of God, the redemption of mankind becomes the revelation of God and when we who are been saved believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, shall not be cast of, but bear the fruit of the tree.

Hearsay will not benefit, religion cannot save you, but those branches who have been grafted into the vine (John 15:5) and are led by the Spirit of God, they are called sons of God and this revelation only comes through knowledge and understanding.

Today, we are encouraged to open our hearts and ask Holy Spirit to reveal the Christ, the heart of God and as we continue to the power of His grace, the intimacy of this holy relationship, produces the fruit that Jesus was talking about Matt 7:16

Positioned in the Kingdom of God

July 9, 2018
This morning while sitting in the presence of Jesus, I was listening to the Lord as the Holy Spirit began to reveal things that were hidden, and speak very clearly about His purpose for our nation, South Africa and how He was bring things about in a way that would otherwise never have been possible.

Holy Spirit began to talk about the state of our nation and revealed the plan of the enemy and all that he (Satan) was trying to bring about (The enemies plan remains to destroy that nation as a w...

Let wisdom be your yardstick...

June 23, 2018
Before you make a move, it be rather wise that you plan.

I found this statement to be so true on many and different occasions, I have found that it would be senseless to move into a new direction without weighing up the costs. How often we make plans without consulting God and then when things do not work out as we expected, we often find people blaming God or asking Him why. We all know that we cannot make an investment without doing due diligence and yet, so many people do.

We need to remin...

South Africa, I am your new beginning

March 12, 2018
Isa 43: 19-21 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. The wild animals honor me, the jackals and the owls, because I provide water in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland, to give drink to my people, my chosen, the people I formed for myself that they may proclaim my praise.

While interceding and waiting on the Lord regarding the ongoing and developing situation our country, South Africa i...

My heart, My storehouse

February 19, 2018
I spent some time chatting to a friend lately and the subject came to sowing seed and then Holy Spirit began to speak to my heart about the seed of God and where we can find the seed He gives to the sower...

Bear with me as I try to share what I feel He has been saying to me regarding this matter and I hope as you pray and meditate on it that it too will be a revelation which you can apply to your life.

In 2 Cor 9:10-15 (NKJV) we read, 10 Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, bread for foo...

See I am doing a New Thing

February 18, 2018
In Isa 43:18-20 we read "Do not call to mind the former things, Or ponder things of the past. "Behold, I will do something new, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert. "The beasts of the field will glorify Me, The jackals and the ostriches, Because I have given waters in the wilderness And rivers in the desert, To give drink to My chosen people.…

Regarding the drought in Cape Town, South Africa

February 7, 2018
I can no longer be silent. People, especially and I am addressing the Church, are grabbing hold of any and everything they can right now and it is at this time that we are to warn God's people to be careful of false prophets, false doctrines and the false ideologies of man that would undermine the heart and purpose of God in the city.

God is NOT angry at Cape Town or it's people. His love and compassion goes beyond anything we could ever imagine or comprehend. Our Fathers heart is simply that ...

Stepping into the vision

January 1, 2018
We entered into 2018 in the presence of Jesus with such an expectancy in our hearts as we believe this year we will see us stepping into vision.

We are believing that we will see our ministry expand into Zimbabwe this year in line with the dream that I had as we returned from Qatar. In the dream, I saw three trucks each with the word Faith, Love and Hope written on them... each individual truck would be used to distribute bibles, clothing and food in the much needed rural areas and in the cit...

Waiting for the manifestation of the vision

November 8, 2017
A number of years ago, God began speaking to me about all that He has in store for my future ministry and the instructions I received, also confirmed over time about the part I was to play in what He was about to do. However, as time went on, the seeming delay caused all sorts of questions and emotions to raise their heads up and I have subsequently found the more I entertained them, the fainter the vision became and almost like a mist, the dreams and visions began to fade away.

Hab 2:1-3 I wi...

I am defined by Christ

September 3, 2017
It is not a law that defines who I now am in Christ, but rather, Jesus Christ himself. He has become my Yardstick, the means for which I am now measured.

Man would have you believe that in order for you to live a holy life, there be certain rules and regulations that you and I should follow, for in doing so, the teaching be, that we would then be able to draw closer to Him. However, this is far from the truth. The bible tells us in Rom 1:17 herein lies the secret of the power of the Gospel; th...
