2014 Family Outreach

Posted by Mark Labuschagne on Tuesday, November 4, 2014
An update for those of you who might be following our proposed outreach for the first two weeks in December where we plan to distribute 500 food hampers to the less fortunate in communities around Gaborone, Botswana as part of our ministry in the city.

This is a complete food hamper which will be prepared for our distribution

In the past, we have made it our policy not to ask anyone to support us financially as we have had to endure the negative reactions that comes from such an approach. However, short of taking a huge risk, we have decided to ask you, our ministry friends to get behind this outreach, firstly by agreeing with us in prayer and secondly, by contributing financially towards the needs of people we have identified.

Many of our friends do not know that our ministry is totally 100% faith based, in other words, we trust in God and depend on the love and generosity of our friends to support the ministry God has called us to. This particular project budget is set at 7500 USD or 75000 ZAR and at a cost of 15 USD or 150 ZAR we would be able to reach approximately 5000 (500 families, with an average of five people per family) mouths with this simple act of love.

So, it is with this in mind that we decided to approach you, trusting the Lord will speak to the right people, people who have a heart to see lives touched through the generosity of others. Your support will make it possible for us to continue reaching the lost, the poor and the needy this season.

Kindly visit our ministry gift page (found on this site) when making a financial contribution towards this outreach and mark your gift Fam 500 when doing so. We thank you for being willing to reach out with us as we touch the lives of those in need.

Our love for our Father
