A great start

Moving to Botswana in April 2014 was a move we truly believe to have been ordained by our heavenly Father. From the time we arrived, we saw His hand move in such an amazing way in our lives. Come January 2015, we continue to see God lead us and sometimes we arrive at a point in our day that we are not sure what the next step should be, but at the correct time, as we wait, we once again see the Lord direct us. Andi and I have learnt so much during this time and we use what the Spirit of God has shown us to encourage others to follow Jesus.

My parents arrived this week for their first time visit to Botswana and as the nation continued enjoying the holiday season, we took advantage of the quieter streets to show them a few sites in the city. We also got to do some game drives and generally enjoy our time together. I cannot help but be thankful for the opportunity we have to be able to share this time with them. God has answered our prayers and made it possible.

Last Sunday morning I was able to take them with us as I ministered at Salem ministries in Mokatse. Here I got to shared a word with the church and encouraged them to approach their day by following the example Jesus set for us. We never got to go away during the holiday's but were honored to be able to share the word of God as we did during the month of December. We are hoping that our residence permits will be approved this week so that we can start implementing the strategy the Lord has purposed in our hearts to accomplish the vision set in motion for this nation.

I hope this weekly blog will encourage you to pursue His holiness and that you will strive to please Him in all that you are. 1 John 4:17 As Christ is, so are we in this world. What a glorious statement, a reality that we can grasp and understand. May your pursuit, produce the Christlike fruit that will cause your day to be a joyful occassion.

Our love for our Father

Mark Labuschagne We are a vessel set apart, cleansed, emptied, consecrated; just standing, waiting every moment for God, in Christ, by the Holy Spirit, to work out in us as much of the holiness and the life of His Son as pleases Him We worship Him only!
