And so another year begins

Exciting to see how God moves in our hearts and lives without us sometimes even knowing about it. Andi and I have been married for 29 years this year and we can also talk about the up's and down's we have experienced, but the thing that we can share is how we spent and experienced these times together. During these years, we have seen and heard of many relationships break up and not work out, and I think that we too could have been a statistic if we did not choose to make Jesus the center of everything we are.

Today, we both can testify of how the Lord did marvelous things for and on our behalf and how He was the glue that kept us together and with the love we have for each other, despite our hardships, has been the reason we can stand in these times and share our undying love for each other.

There are many people out there going through difficult times in their marriages and most often you will find that it is extenuating circumstances that often bring crisis in any relationship. We choose to look past ourselves, past our circumstances and look to Jesus through our own eyes and allowed His love for us to bring about a bond the is almost humanly impossible to understand.

Every day we have together, is another opportunity to be a blessing to one another and to be able to honor the One we serve. We want to encourage you this day to build on the Rock, which is Jesus and submit to one another in love and out of respect as an simple act of worship to the Most High God and you will see what Jesus will do.

Tomorrow, my girl turns 47, what a gem of a woman. I continue to believe that because of Jesus and the love of the wife I have, I am the man I am today. And so we can declare a new year begins.

Our love for our Father

Mark Labuschagne We are a vessel set apart, cleansed, emptied, consecrated; just standing, waiting every moment for God, in Christ, by the Holy Spirit, to work out in us as much of the holiness and the life of His Son as pleases Him We worship Him only!
