My attempt to pen what God did this weekend, will be limited by my ability to reproduce the awesomeness we experienced during these meetings. Friday morning we opened the first session, with Bernard Schubert teaching and this set the foundation for the rest of the meetings. William Mitchell ministered in the afternoon and we gathered together for the evening service where God's people opened their hearts in such a wonderful way. The response to the presence of Jesus eliminated the need to try and persuade anyone to enter in. God was in the house.
On Saturday morning, we continued with the first session as we continued to build and at some stage, after I shared about my favorite subject "Worship", I got behind the piano and the glory of God descended on the place. It was incredible. People began to weep as the Holy Spirit revealed the goodness of Jesus. Our desire to see Him reveal Himself intensified as we pressed in ever deeper.
By Sunday morning, the place was packed to capacity and we just entered in as the Holy Spirit invited the people of the Lord to prepare the banqueting table for the imminent arrival of the King. When Bernard got up to minister on the Sunday evening, tears were flowing down his face as the glory that is Jesus ministered to him. Our attempts to reach heaven were surely rewarded this weekend and I will never forget what God did during these times. I am convinced that God's plan for our city is in full swing and that there is a time coming when people will cry out to Him. Sinners will give their lives to Christ and the Church will be restored and walk in the victory that is Jesus.
The revolution of Faith, Unity, Love and Power will cause the hearts of people to rise up and walk in the fullness that is Christ. South Africa is in need of a mighty move of God and I for one believe the time has come for a mighty demonstration of heaven on earth. Prepare your hearts my friends, enter in, seek Him with every fiber of your being, and all this because you truly love Him.
I end by lifting my heart to Jesus and saying thank you for your love and for the way you touched our hearts this weekend. To William and Bernard for sharing this time with me and for their faithfulness. To Pastor Henry Young for allowing us to use his venue and to those who attended for allowing us to serve in this way, we serve an awe-inspiring, powerful God.
