Every which way

I continue to learn, when things do not work out the way I expected, to just be still and wait on the Lord, and this because our trust in in Him. It is very easy to allow circumstances to dictate emotions and yet, if we understand who we are in Christ, then we will not allow ourselves to get caught up with anything outside of Him. No matter what we are faced with, we continue to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus and do so until the very distractions are no longer visible.

Andi and I continue to remind ourselves that we do not trust God for anything, but trust in Him for everything. There is a huge difference and when we understand this principle, our confidence in Him is the fruit of our faith. We do not trust God for finances, we trust our finances are in God. We do not trust God for healing, we trust our healing is in God. Everything we desire is already in Him and so we simply trust in God.

Jesus said in John 14:1
1“Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me", and Proverbs 3:5 the writer says, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding". What amazing passages of scripture these are and if we can grasp the depth of there meaning, we will come to the place of abandoning ourselves unconditionally to His purpose in us. Jesus also said, do not worry about a single thing. Matt 6:27 Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? And so we learn, a confident heart is a heart that rests in God!

As we travel around the US, we once again reminded ourselves this morning that our trust is in God. We are not moved by what we see, but rather by what we know. And this one thing we know, God is in control... We are not looking for opportunities to minister, we are not looking for things to do or say, but we are resting in the fact that He has all things planned and already in place and knowing this gives us the confidence we need to face tomorrow.

As we rest in Him this day, we declare our trust is in Him and we want to encourage you to set aside all your ideas and to wait patiently in His presence and to do so until your understanding of trust becomes part of your very existence.

Our love for our Father

Mark Labuschagne We are a vessel set apart, cleansed, emptied, consecrated; just standing, waiting every moment for God, in Christ, by the Holy Spirit, to work out in us as much of the holiness and the life of His Son as pleases Him We worship Him only!

He has a special love for the USA, a nation that he has visited and traveled extensively for over some 20 years. He currently lives between South Africa and Botswana and is an accomplished pianist, a sort after speaker, a respected preacher and seasoned prophet who desires to see the Kingdom of God established in the hearts of people across the earth.
