Fire in our hearts

By its very nature, a fire consumes everything in its path. I mean, it just grabs onto everything it can find and consumes it and does so until there is nothing left. One can only say, there once was... but since the fire got hold of it, nothing or very little remained of the original. Now, if you live in South Africa, farmers burn the sugar cane before they harvest. Everything that is not good for consumption is burnt away and the only thing that remains is the part that can produce an excellent harvest..

In the same way, the Lord by His Holy Spirit consumes the heart of those who wait upon Him and removes everything that will hinder His life from manifesting in them. In the church today, we have so many different voices, voices that shout opinions and teach man-based theologies and these all  have the potential to create confusion in the hearts of so many a follower, deluding the minds of these as they sow their seeds, which only produces weeds of deception.

The way to break this process is by bowing our hearts in surrender before the Lord, to wait on Him until we are consumed and everything we are is a representation of His Life in us. There is a tremendous shaking that is about to take place in the church, a shaking that will break down every man-made barrier, a shaking that will destroy every high place, every bit of confusion, a shaking that will remove the weeds and cause every high thing that has exalted itself against the knowledge of God to tumble and to do so until the very foundations of deception has been exposed.

God is calling you by His Holy Spirit to come out from amongst the dross, to be separated to Him, to pursue holiness and to dwell in the righteousness that only He gave on the Cross of Calvary over 2000 years ago. To wait on Him, to remain in His presence, to live a holy life and to be found consecrated, prepared and ready for His return. This is the time to seek and recognize His favor, to turn from the wickedness we so often tolerate, to walk in His righteousness and to live our lives in honor of the One True Living God. As we get to this place, the Fire of God will consume anything that will hinder us from producing fruit that represents the glory of God.

I want to encourage you to pursue the holiness of God and allow the Holy Spirit to consume your heart so that only He be glorified in you...

Our love for our Father

Mark Labuschagne We are a vessel set apart, cleansed, emptied, consecrated; just standing, waiting every moment for God, in Christ, by the Holy Spirit, to work out in us as much of the holiness and the life of His Son as pleases Him We worship Him only!
