God works through His people

Andi and I are currently ministering at the Maun AFM church here in Botswana and when we arrived at the service on Wednesday evening, it was so hot that we ended up standing by the door to try and cool down. As the church has a steel roof, it keeps the heat in and it just becomes very unpleasant. I noticed that there were air conditioners on the walls, but they were not operating.

I asked them to please see if they could get some fans, which would it easier for us to minister and for those who are attending the meetings. However, while sitting in the pastors office, I asked him why the air conditioners were not working. He went on to tell me that someone had donated the four units to them, but when they connected them, they found that the electricity supply to the building was inadequate and they would need to pay the local council an amount of 17751.57 Pula (Botswana Currency) to upgrade from 60 amps single phase to 60 amps three phase.

My heart was to first of all ask the Lord to give us wisdom as to how we can help these folks and also to use whatever means we have available to see if we can create awareness about the situation and raise funds to help them sort this matter out.

18000 Pula = 1563.30 USD

If you feel led in anyway to support this request, then we ask you to kindly visit our gifts page on this website and use either of the options mentioned, marking your gifts BW (Botswana) and we will see to it that Ps Gideon Modise receives it.

We continue to believe that our heavenly Father will make all these things possible... God bless

He has a special love for the USA, a nation that he has visited and traveled extensively for over some 20 years.
