Is it not time for change?

Christians in SA all up in arms because Government wants to take God out of their schools. Friends, God has been out of schools for a long time. Only our feeble religious attempts have been trying to keep "it" all alive, but even the best intentions have produce NO lasting fruit. God is not up in arms by this latest development, He is not offended and He does not need us to defend His honor either. What He does want, is for us, His people to surrender unconditionally to Him in every area of our lives.

My question is, where was the Church before all this happened? Now, we want to object and pray, which is not a bad thing, but why were we not praying before, rather than after? I have no problem with the current developments. Maybe it is time for the church to wake up and to stand on the word, to repent and to seek the face of God. It is time we take responsibility for our own actions and humble ourselves before the living God. I am convinced that NO Government will ever be able to stand against our God, the Living God and as we humble ourselves in His presence and begin to seek His face, His glory will manifest in our hearts, our homes, our families and our schools, our places of business and when this happens, His glory will cause ALL men to know and see Him high and lifted up.

We are up in arms when legislation is past allowing abortion, but our christian girls are aborting their babies. We are up in arms and quick to judge and point fingers at the world, but we compromise on so many levels and then we shoot the prophet down for speaking out and turn our backs on one another. Where is the love of Christ in these actions?

How many times have we heard "Never do business with a Christian"? We do not pay our taxes, we mistreat people of other races, we use language that does not honor our heavenly Father and we want to point a finger at the world? On Sunday we know how to act, but the rest of the week... remains questionable!

They (Sinner's), do not know any better, the veil has not yet been removed, yet we who stand before God with unveiled faces, should be a reflection of His glory. Let our light shine!

2 Cor 3:7 Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, transitory though it was, 8 will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious? 9 If the ministry that brought condemnation was glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness! 10 For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory. 11 And if what was transitory came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts!

12 Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold. 13 We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to prevent the Israelites from seeing the end of what was passing away. 14 But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away. 15 Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. 16 But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate[a] the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

May I ask, father's do your children see Christ in you? Is their hearts desire to be like dad because when they look at you, all they see is the Christ you serve. Our children live and look like the world, they come out of good "religious" homes, but deny the power of the Christ, and this because of what they see at home. Do our mother's reflect the heart of God, do our neighbors, people we work with, those around us see Jesus in us? I tell you this day, wherever Christ reigns, you will find surrendered hearts and His glory manifesting wherever they go...

If we want to see and make a difference in our nation, then it is time to stop with the Sunday pep talks and hype and get on our knees before our heavenly Father... FOR...

2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV)

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Mark Labuschagne At the age of 12, God called Mark to ministry and for the last 44-years his desire to stay true to this calling remains his passion. It was in the desert place, the road less traveled that God gave Mark a prophetic voice and sent him to the nations.
