Kimberley and back again

Wow, what a whirl-wind trip I had. I flew to Kimberley to go and collect our new vehicle and then met a few friends for dinner, before driving on to Bloemfontein to meet Ryan who was coming down from Johannesburg. He arrived at 11:30pm and then we embarked on the 1000 km trip back home. 2179km in total.

We were so tired when we got back, it was unbelievable, but we thanked the Lord for travelling mercies and arrived home safely. The N1 highway is a notorious stretch of road and although I used to travel up and down, this was the first time in six years that I have driving on the road and so, it was great to be back home.

Thanks to Herman for collecting me at the airport, we would not have been able to do so without his help.
