Moving forward

I have come to realize that everything in fact does have a time, God's time. There is no other time that we can measure time by, but by our heavenly Father's and learning to submit to it, is simplified through the surrendered heart. A year ago we arrived in Botswana and what an incredible year it has been. God has and continues to work all things for our good and we continue to learn to submit to heavens processes.

We have seen many people touched and changed by the love of Jesus during this time. In fact around 600 people gave their lives to Christ, and many testify to the goodness of our Saviour because of what He has done in their hearts. We have seen our heavenly Father take care of our needs and we have been astounded by His goodness over and over again.

The dream continues as we learn to wait patiently on Him. There have been many lessons learnt during this past year and it has most definately not been very easy, but at the same time, extremely rewarding. Andi and I wait in His presence and do whatever we can to ensure that His plan and purpose for our lives and the ministry He has entrusted to us, continues to develop and as we rest in His presence, we sense the Lord Himself is about to release something through us that would bring Him all the glory.

My encouragement to those of you who might be reading this, is simply to be still in His presence, to rest in His love and allow the blessed Holy Spirit to continue to guide you along the path, God has set out before you. Never run ahead of Him, it will only frustrate you. Rather learn to listen and obey as this is our reasonable act of worship, than continue doing whatever you are busy with, for in the end, the inevitable will set a course for you that is a complete deviation from His original plan.

We look forward to what lies ahead of us and wait with expectancy in our hearts. We have and continue to see the Lord provide for our personal needs and despite feeling like we are being held back at times, we are content in His love. We know that no matter what might happen to us over the next twelve months, our heavenly Father remains in control and quite frankly, that is good enough for us.

Our love for our Father

Mark Labuschagne We are a vessel set apart, cleansed, emptied, consecrated; just standing, waiting every moment for God, in Christ, by the Holy Spirit, to work out in us as much of the holiness and the life of His Son as pleases Him We worship Him only!
