Are you just what itching ears want to hear

2 Tim 4:2-4 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

As many of you reading this might know, I was called at he tender age of 12 years old (The day I gave my life to Jesus Christ), and it took another 10 years before the Lord allowed me to understand the Office (Prophet) I was called to confirming and He did this by confirming His word through verses of scriptures and especially Jeremiah 1:4-10 The word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Alas, Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I do not know how to speak; I am too young.” But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord. Then the Lord reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, “I have put my words in your mouth. See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.” It has been this particular passage of scripture written and spoken to me all those many years ago, that continues to instill confidence regarding my calling, in my heart.

Seeking the truth is something that I desired to know from a very young age, I always wanted to know who this Jesus was and even though in the setting I grew up in, legalism abounded, I still set out to speak from a platform of truth and not out of my own vain imagination. I always ensured that when I spoke, it would be a representation of truth and that Christ would be recognized through the things I was instructed to say. I wanted people to see Jesus in me, this is what I lived for and desired the most.

So, when it finally came to the place where the Holy Spirit instructed men to lay hands on me and ordain me as a Prophet, some 23 years later, I stepped out by faith and began to fulfill the mandate the Lord had set in my heart and I might add, I have stood on many toes during these incredible years of service. I have ministered to people from all walks of life, from the king of Lesotho to presidents of large corporations. From leaders of revivals to young children, I have always, taught, shared, ministered, spoke, declared and prophesied just as the Lord instructed.

However, truth comes at a price. I have learnt to become a doer of the word, not only speaking it, but living it, and herein lies the difficulty. When you pursue righteousness, you will always have opposition hanging out, most often, not too far away. Paul said to Timothy, "Everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted", but I never for one moment thought the persecution he was talking about, would come from within our own ranks. I never for one moment thought the Church would persecute its own, but in my case, it was the greatest source of my pain.

God has called his Prophets as His Mouthpiece, His Voice and the Church, who is the Body of Christ, somehow gave me the impression that it would do and say whatever it felt like without giving the Head much consideration. We all know that a body cannot function without its head and most definitely without a brain (spirit), yet, we see the Body of Christ even attempting in many cases, to influence the Head and His prophets with its "sideways - snake like" agenda.

The question that begs to be asked, have we allowed ourselves (The Body of Christ) to be influenced by forces of darkness, have we allowed ourselves to be influenced by opinions, interpretations and theories of man, for in many instances and without going into details, we seemed to have "lost the plot" as it were. But thanks be to God, despite any feeble attempts, both from within and without, caused by any opposing force, His Word remains true, and will remain so throughout eternity.

One of the biggest problems we do have in this day and age, that in my humble opinion has led to the many divisions we see within the Body of Christ is the voices of man that comes through and so easily persuades, even the elect. And this because we simply do not have the sincere relationship with Jesus that we ought to. It has become far easier to listen to man than it is to listen to the voice of God. We seem to have a people today that do not spend much time in the presence of God outside of their Sunday gatherings and midweek meetings. We have a people who would rather have someone tell them how it is than follow the divine leading of the Word itself. The Church has become subject to a quick fix and fast paced society and have allowed the system of man or this age to dictate the standard, which many now follow.

Our influence has waned, and weakened and our resolve found wanting, yet, in all this, we remain part of God's eternal plan. His plan of course, does not include our feeble efforts, our ideologies and fake religious actions, but it does include His kingdom manifesting in us as it is in heaven and so it is with this in mind that we are continually been encouraged to prepare our hearts for a heavenly visitation. Having said this, we have a people who have itching ears, all they want to hear is how their self-righteous acts are pleasing to the Lord, and there is by no means a shortage of those willing to indulge their fantasies, even believing themselves, their deceptive words honor God.

There are multitudes, yes you heard right, multitudes of these false prophets, false pastors, false teachers, false apostles and false evangelists breathing down the itching ears of people who themselves are depraved of the truth. They give themselves proud titles and think that their "education" gives them the right to be recognized among men, but their voices are not recognized by God.

What you will find, address this situation and you will be persecuted. They will rise up against you, they will stick their ugly necks out and spit at you, all along forgetting they are only proving what we have known all along. Their father is the master of their deception.

You might feel that I write this with a grudge in my heart, but the opposite is in fact true. I seek to honor Him only, and those who know me, will know that I have no agenda outside of Christ. My heart remains His, and my worship is true and His Spirit is my guide as I remain true to my calling. See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.”  Wherever I am sent, my ministry will always be to uproot, and to tear down, to destroy and to overthrow, but it will always be to build and to plant... As a prophet and servant of my heavenly father, I have continued to do so throughout my 41 year and ongoing walk with my Savior. He is the one who continues to train, and teach and as I submit to Him only, I continue to speak the Truth with the voice that He has placed within me.

So, to the true Apostles, Prophets, Teachers, Evangelists and Pastors, stay true to the Word of God, for He is raising the "Voice" in you, this is worship in action.
