What a wonderful time we had in the presence of Jesus. I once again had the privilege to minister the word of God to His precious people and the place was packed with hungry men and women who both Andi and I have grown to love. The night before, I just sat still as the Holy Spirit continued to speak to my heart about the service and what He wanted me to share. I love the fact that I get to encourage people in such a wonderful way and do the very thing I LOVE the most.
As the Body of Christ, we must know that we are not excluded from any form oftrail and or tribulation and that as Jesus said we would also go through these things, we take courage from the word He spoke, when He said, "I have over come the world". What a powerful fact and allowing this to sink in, might take some trails to realize what Jesus meant when He said this. However, even when faced with various issues, Paul and Silas continued to praise the Lord, in other words, despite the problem they were facing, they continued to lift their voices in honor of the God they serve as they knew He was able to deliver them from the situation they faced. Actually, they did not care if they were set free from these chains or not and this because their faith was in His ability and their resolve was to honor Jesus no matter what they were facing.
My friend, today we are encouraged to look past our circumstances, and to look above and beyond and do so until we see Jesus high and lifted up. Seated at the right hand of the Father, the place of honor, the place of grace. Look beyond your problem this day and to do until you see Jesus, for it is here where the things we face grow strangely dim in the site of all that Jesus is.
I leave you with the words of the song writer, "Look to Jesus now and live"...
