Preparation of the heart

We had a great time yesterday as we gathered together at our home church in Paarl. Andi and I enjoy time with our friends and the family of God and appreciate the opportunity to share the heart of God with His people. There is an expectancy in the congregation, a "waiting", as it were for the Glory of God to show up in our midst.

Somethings that is
noticeable wherever we travel is the few elements always at play in the Church. Some folks are hungry for the "More" of God, while others are just interested in doing things the same as before. Then there are the extremist, those who want to have nothing to do with anything that will upset the flow of things or are offended if they cannot manipulate or influence the leadership and simply leave the local church, coming up with all sorts of reasons why they should go.

The attacks seen to intensify and people start withholding their money and react in ways that one never would have expected. The reality is, these things were being exposed, because this was in their hearts all along and before God shows up, I am convinced these issues will need to be dealt with.

So, the message is clear, God is challenging us to deal with our hearts, to examine ourselves in preparation for the coming Glory. Holiness is something we, the Church pursue with all our hearts, and this because we desire to see Jesus high and lifted up. We are encouraged to hold the course and not to deviate from the plan the Spirit of God birthed in our hearts.

I am grateful for a people who are on the same page as it were, a people who truly desire the "More" of God... We have resolved to continue pressing in, to go beyond our own limitations and do so until the goodness of God manifests through us.

Our love for our Father

Mark Labuschagne We are a vessel set apart, cleansed, emptied, consecrated; just standing, waiting every moment for God, in Christ, by the Holy Spirit, to work out in us as much of the holiness and the life of His Son as pleases Him We worship Him only!

Ministry Bio

Mark Labuschagne At the age of 12, God called Mark to ministry and for the last 44-years his desire to stay true to this calling remains his passion. It was in the desert place, the road less traveled that God gave Mark a prophetic voice and sent him to the nations. In his 30 years of ministry, Mark has traveled to 60 countries and has seen the hand of God move in amazing ways in the hearts and lives of those he was sent to. He has a special love for the USA, a nation that he has visited and traveled extensively for over some 20 years. He currently lives between South Africa and Botswana and is an accomplished pianist, a sort after speaker, a respected preacher and seasoned prophet who desires to see the Kingdom of God established in the hearts of people across the earth. Married to Andi, they have two children, Carey 30, now married to Matthew and Ryan 28, engaged to Chantal, with Arabella their first grand baby and a cat named Tiga...
