Regarding the drought in Cape Town, South Africa

I can no longer be silent. People, especially and I am addressing the Church, are grabbing hold of any and everything they can right now and it is at this time that we are to warn God's people to be careful of false prophets, false doctrines and the false ideologies of man that would undermine the heart and purpose of God in the city.

God is NOT angry at Cape Town or it's people. His love and compassion goes beyond anything we could ever imagine or comprehend. Our Fathers heart is simply that people would turn back to Him...

John 3:16 NKJV For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Of course sin across the world is a factor, but this is why Jesus came, so that mankind could be saved and set free. The time is now that the church would humble herself and begin to reach the lost. If the church stood up, a city like Cape Town would see a move of God like never before.

Instead of gathering and simply repenting (Which has already been done on so many different occasions in the city) why not join with like minded people in the city and seek the heart of God on the matter.

God would have spared Sodom and Gomorrah if Abraham could have found even one righteous person in the city. Cape Town despite all its faults, has a hungry, passionate and vibrant church in its midst and because of His Church, the kingdom of darkness will not prevail against it.

So, it is right that the Church should pray and call on the Lord. It is right that the Church present the Good News to the peoples of the city, but to point out the sin and declare our loving faithful Father is punishing the city, is in fact untrue and a doctrine with its roots in the law and not grace.

It is a doctrine of a past Covenant that people are trying to present when Jesus did away with it more than 2000 years ago.

So, what is happening right now? This is simply a weather phenomenon that has gripped the city and the surrounding area, but one that will be broken.

So to the Church, rise up in the mighty name of Jesus. Speak, declare and prophesy the truth of the Kingdom of our loving and righteous God to everyone around you and as we call on the name of the Lord, we will see God open the windows of heaven and His glory will cover the earth.

***The drought is NOT a result of His anger***
