The unfailing love of Jesus

The unfailing, unshakable love of God dwells on the inside of those who believe. His name is all that we need, the righteousness of Christ, all the hope we ever needed, now causing victory every step we take. This my friend is the truth that now guides us along the path chosen for us to run our race. I want to encourage you this day to keep your eyes firmly focused on the Christ, for He is the One causing His eternal purpose to manifest in the hearts of those who believe.

Andi and I continue to grow in the things of God. His word teaching and guiding us every step of the way. How we have seen Him change the course of our lives, and this by simply surrendering to His purpose, our destiny has become so much clearer.

Last week the enemy really tried to work his magic by trying to convince us to leave Botswana. The word of the Lord to us was that our resident permits would be granted in a unique way and as we continued to struggle along and not seeing any positive results, we for a brief moment entertained the possibility that maybe we had made a mistake and that it was in fact not God's plan that we should remain in our adopted land. But then, Jesus came and comforted our hearts and even though our status in Botswana has not changed, we are still here waiting for the uniqueness of our God to manifest.

We have learnt that God remains the reward of our faith, not the things we are praying for, but HIm. He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him and it is this reward that we seek, the Christ in us the hope of glory. We have and continue to surrender to the life of Christ in us, our pursuit is not our own agenda, but the purpose of God in us and it is to this end that we continue to wait in Him.

Jesus is the assurance that we need to make it to the finish line, and it is His ability in us that enables us to run the race with gladness, knowing that goodness and mercy follow us all the days of our lives, we confidently declare, there is nothing we cannot overcome.

So, we thank you for your faithfulness and continued prayers as we know that our lives remain an example to many, we too wish to say, follow me as I follow Christ.

Our love for our Father
