With all the distractions around us, I wonder how many really do get to spend time with Jesus? I see how busy people are, the amount of effort people put into their daily lives. Their work days are filled with business plans, family time and everything else that goes along with the busy lives we live in these modern times.
I have come to the understanding that unless my focus is on Jesus, the Christ who dwells on the inside of me, my relationship with Him will suffer. I have to know His heart, I have to know His will and I have to be found doing the very thing that is on His heart.
I do not always understand all the religious terminology, but I do know and recognize the still small voice of my heavenly Father. As He speaks to me, I continue to develop a greater sense of responsibility as my spiritual senses are constantly been tuned into His, so much so that the "leading" of the Holy Spirit takes on a complete and total new meaning. It becomes a reality to those who continue to worship Him.
Friend, we have to be totally surrendered to His purpose and to live our lives in such a way that we will be satisfied with nothing less than to see Jesus high and lifted up. I remain in love with Him and my worship is a result of who He is and all that He means to me.
So I am putting a plan together that will help me remain focused on the strategy the Lord has given me for our future and I have become a fervent believer of the importance of building on the foundation of Christ in our own lives as this allows us to hear His voice a lot clearer, enabling us to see ourselves as having the ability to be a doer of His word, to live and walk in it and to continue doing so until we are totally overwhelmed by the glory that is Jesus.
He must live His life through me and I want to encourage you to set aside every plan and ambition and to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, to spend time in fervent prayer and to worship Him in spirit and in truth and to continue in this vein until Jesus calls us home.
I am so grateful that you would take time to read these posts as I share my heart with you in this way, it is my prayer that all that you would see is the Christ we serve and that there would be no foreign god standing between you and our Most Holy, Sovereign Lord and Savior, for this is time well spent in the presence of Jesus.
