Weather Changed

As the weather has changed, the air has become a lot colder, a different type of cold, yet chilly enough to get your attention. There are so many people here that do not have blankets or warm clothing and we can only thank the Lord for the provision He gives that has enabled us to reach out where we could. However, despite the cold, people remain resilient and move forward. I hear that summer months are boiling hot, so one must appreciate the cooler weather while it lasts.

As Andi and I felt the Lord tell us to sell up everything we had back in July of 2013, this past few days saw her return to our beloved city, Cape Town, where she managed to sell off the majority of our furniture that was still in storage, today, all we have left is my piano and a few boxes. I laughed when I spoke to a friend recently and said, "I better have heard God about coming to Botswana, as we have nothing left" and then I was reminded about Matt 19:27-29
Peter answered him, “We have left everything to follow you! What then will there be for us?” Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life.

Our Father remains faithful and I love the way in which He graciously continues to teach and guide us. I have learnt, walking by faith simply means to be confident in God's ability to perform all that He has promised, and this is exactly where Andi and I find ourselves.

So, thank you for praying for us, we love you all and know that I God is able...

Our love for our Father
