What a time

I always find it difficult to tell people who were not able to witness the meetings what an awesome time we had in the presence of Jesus. The weekends meetings at Ps Peet Roode in Amanzimtoti, KZN were something I want to experience over and over again.

We flew into Durban on the Saturday and had the privilege of being able to spend some time with my parents before Andi and i drove south from Ballito Bay to Amanzimtoti. We arrived at our guest house and Jenny and Chris were our hosts. What lovely people they were.

Sunday morning we got to meet Ps Peet and his precious wife Essel before the meeting. When I got up to minister, the presence of Jesus came over the place and I felt Him all over me. The goodness of God manifested in an instant and well, I know the Lord touched my heart and the testimonies that we have received confirm Jesus was in the house. The same continued into the evening service and it really blessed both Andi and myself to be able to serve in this way. Another highlight was the fact that my parents came through to the meeting, it was good to have them share this time with us.

Monday, Andi and I got to spend time with the rest of my family and for the first time in many years, we were all together again. William and Stan, my younger two brothers, joined with us as we broke bread together and spent some valuable time "Teasing" each other. It reminded me some what of the good old days, and we thanked the Lord for this opportunity.

Mark, William, Ruth (Our Mom) Stan and Theo (Our Dad)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           Andi and I then returned to Cape Town on board a Mango flight. The weather in Durban was stunning, but half way on our flight, the captain told us about the number of planes that had to be diverted because of bad weather, we prayed and thanked the Lord for the duration of our trip and the way in which He took care of us, even in this small instance. The plane touched down, and everyone clapped hands as we arrived safely in Cape Town. And then it hit us, the cold, wet rain and the wind, I knew I was home. Carey meet us at the airport and we arrived back without any problems.

What a stunning weekend we had!
