What you do not know

When the Lord told Andi and I twenty years ago that He would teach us by His Spirit to live by faith, we never knew what that meant. Today, we are only starting to "skim the tip of the proverbial ice berg" as we seen how God continues to provide in all our needs and in ways we never expected.

Currently, I am writing a book about this incredible journey as we remain grateful for the way in which the Lord continues to provide for us for even when we have nothing, we remain amply supplied. Last year, the Lord told us He was once again going to move us out of our comfort zone and again, and out of previous experience, we knew what that meant. So the Lord had us move out of our rented home and how He has sustained us beyond our expectation, continues to amaze us. Friends, we serve an amazing Father.

What you don't know as you read this is, we have no home of our own. We do not rent a home nor do we own one and when we are in Cape Town, we stay a few days with our daughter in her two bedroom rented apartment until we move on to the next assignment. Andi and I currently receive $300 per month (3000 ZAR) as our total monthly support and yet we travel across the nations, ministering the word of God, and can only thank Him for His grace.

As we leave the US at the end of March 2014, we have not asked anyone for money and yet have traveled over 40 thousand miles. We have hired cars, paid for airline tickets, hotel accommodation, gas and food and all this came out of God's provision for us. This provision has come out of the funds we have received where we ministered. Our policy has never been to have a set ministry fee and do not ask those we minister to for funds either, yet, we were able to accomplish all this and more in the name of the Christ we faithfully serve.

Over the four months the Lord had us stay in the US, Ps Glenn and Shelia Artt graciously allowed us to stay in their home without charging us a single cent. Although we paid our way where we could, we saw even the faithfulness of these precious friends bless us without question. We remain eternally grateful for the kindness they have shown us. Yet, even in this time, we have seen the Lord provide for them and undertake in all their needs, not just because of what they did for us, but because of the faithfulness of our Savior.

Last year, I repented and apologized for asking people to support us financially, even though it might have been in our right, we felt we did not want to be an offence and so, we made it our policy where possible not to ask anyone out of our own (unless we felt prompted to do so) for money. We have seen the generosity of many on our recent annual trip to the US, people of God who have just given into our lives without question and we continue to honor their obedience.

So, we continue to live by faith (To place unconditional trust IN our God) and give God all the glory, for even in the difficult times, we remain strong, and this because He is the high tower we remain safely sheltered in.

To you who show your love to us in the way that you have, we are most grateful and pray for your continued success. Please trust with us as we pray for a mobile home, see the bottom of our outreach page and for two other vehicles that we need to be able to go into some of the areas we will be working in.

Our love for our Father

Ministry Bio

Mark Labuschagne At the age of 12, God called Mark to ministry and for the last 44-years his desire to stay true to this calling remains his passion. It was in the desert place, the road less traveled that God gave Mark a prophetic voice and sent him to the nations. In his 30 years of ministry, Mark has traveled to 60 countries and has seen the hand of God move in amazing ways in the hearts and lives of those he was sent to. He has a special love for the USA, a nation that he has visited and traveled extensively for over some 20 years. He currently lives between South Africa and Botswana and is an accomplished pianist, a sort after speaker, a respected preacher and seasoned prophet who desires to see the Kingdom of God established in the hearts of people across the earth. Married to Andi, they have two children, Carey 30, now married to Matthew and Ryan 28, engaged to Chantal, with Arabella their first grand baby and a cat named Tiga...
