When Jesus is your focus

Posted by Mark Labuschagne on Tuesday, November 30, 2010,
When Jesus is our focus, then everything we do will line up with who He is. This is an incredible statement and one I have found works for me. When we are conscious about pleasing Christ, then it becomes so much easier to live our lives as true worshipers. Mankind has become to busy with pleasing self that we have become a very self-centered, and selfish people. However, when worship is our primary objective, then, everything that Jesus is manifests through us and all this because we have mad...

And I will gather them...

Posted by Mark Labuschagne on Friday, November 26, 2010,
My friends, in this hour the Father is seeking those who worship Him in spirit and in truth. Men and women who bow unconditionally to His lordship (24/7). These are those who have surrendered to His authority and have placed His Word over all things. They have died to self and seek nothing more than to consciously please Him. They have not only received the gift of grace that was freely presented to them by the love of a Savior, whose name is Jesus Christ, but they choose to move forward as a...

Daddy

Posted by Mark Labuschagne on Wednesday, November 24, 2010,
Daddy, out of all the words in the dictionary I could use...only two come to mind when I think of the incredible man that you are...Thank You. Thank you for being strong in the Lord so I can learn from that. Thank you for being a loving husband so that I know what to look for in the man I will marry. Thank you for being the best dad in the whole world so I can grow up to be the best that I can be. The world may see this time in my life where I leave the nest and become my own person...but I s...

Fanning the flames of revival

Posted by Mark Labuschagne on Sunday, November 21, 2010,

"The time has come for my people to prepare their hearts for the coming fire. I will send rain upon those who desperately seek Me. For in this hour I declare pockets of fire will be released to those who run after me for I am causing an awakening in this city and beyond and all I desire is that you would come into My presence and seek My heart and as you worship I will pour out blessings on My people. Everything has been set in place, all you have to do is wait on Me and you shall see the gl...

Who is he who guides you

Posted by Mark Labuschagne on Thursday, November 18, 2010,
Who is he who guides you? Is it the Holy Spirit or man? I have found so many people come up to me and tell me this person gave them a word from the Lord saying one thing and another person would come and say another and so they live their lives. First off, let me make the following statement. If you have a relationship with our heavenly Father, then it is important to know that when you take the time to ask Him for guidance, then He will be kind enough to answer you directly. I have found the...

His Son shines through

Posted by Mark Labuschagne on Wednesday, November 17, 2010,
When you find yourself in a difficult place, and you do not know which way to turn, God, in the most awesome way always comes through. If you are anything like me, I always tried to sort things out for myself and complained a lot when it did not work out. There were times I even got mad at God because I thought that He did not care. What was strange though, was the fact the only times I felt like that was when I went through a difficult patch. Sad, because I can really testify as to how He al...

The glory of His majesty...

Posted by Mark Labuschagne on Tuesday, November 16, 2010,
How awesome to be able to know the One True Living God. My heart is so aware of His glory as I write this. There is something about the presence of Jesus that stirs my heart into action. I have said it before, and I will say it over and over again. I cannot help but want to remain in His presence 24/7...

This is our declaration this hour oh Lord. Your majestic presence overwhelms us. As we sit in Your court and praise, our hearts are drawn towards Your beauty, and the grandeur of Your holiness...

Dry and Barren place

Posted by Mark Labuschagne on Tuesday, November 16, 2010,
MANY HAVE ENTERED a time of SPIRITUAL DESERT and ISOLATION. I cannot tell you how many times I have prayed for believers who have lost everything (job, house, confidence in the future) and have gone through a very dry time of wondering what God is doing with them. The biblical concept that we sometimes have to lose most of our securities in order to find God has become very real to many American Christians. Many of you reading this blog are now going through a spiritual desert and isolat...

His glory in me...

Posted by Mark Labuschagne on Saturday, November 13, 2010,
A man without substances is like leaves being blown around by the wind. I have found when Christ is my focus, something is released on the inside that makes this bond fruitful and the manifestation of all things good is displayed through my life because of Christ in me, the hope of glory.

It is the manifestation of His glory that stirs my heart to continue to worship in His presence. Oh, how I love the presence of the Lord.

Are you locked into the system of mammon?

Posted by Mark Labuschagne on Friday, November 12, 2010,

There are so many people around us that are going through difficulties today that I felt I needed to write a piece about money and its destruction of good people in our time.

One of the things I have noticed over the last five years is the amount of greed in the hearts of people and I am not even talking about Christains. The way in which people got themselves into more debt before the recession hit them, was absolutely amazing. In fact amazing is not the right word to use, it was more like d...

Now more than ever

Posted by Mark Labuschagne on Thursday, November 11, 2010,
Now more than ever before, as we come to the end of this age as we know it, we need to be careful of who we align ourselves to and must discern by the spirit, that which is of God.

Matt 7:15  Jesus said, "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. The sermon then suggests that their true nature will be revealed by their actions (by their fruits shall ye know them, verse 16).

And Paul wrote to Timothy in 2 Tim 3:1-10

The Dangers of the ...

Don't judge the sinner

Posted by Mark Labuschagne on Wednesday, November 10, 2010,
My friend, it really is time that we stop pointing fingers at the world and stop the rampant condemnation of those who have not yet given their lives to Christ. Jesus said, "I have not come to condemn the world, but to save it" (Jn 3:17). There seems to be a habit of condemnation that needs to be stopped. We are quick to point fingers, but forget what we were or looked like before Jesus came and set us free.

Paul said the world is excused from righteous living, and as they as yet have not come...

I am redeemed

Posted by Mark Labuschagne on Tuesday, November 9, 2010,
So many people who have given their lives to Christ, still think that they have to do something to achieve acceptance, when all along, the Blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ, has already accomplished its intended purpose. I can only put this attempt to seek recognition down to a "Lack of Faith".

I can remember how I tried to seek the Fathers favor and would think that I was never good enough. But there came a day, thank God for His faithfulness, when my eyes were opened to His word and the truth...

Ok, so what now?

Posted by Mark Labuschagne on Monday, November 8, 2010,
So you are going through some issues right now and you are not sure what to do about it? Have to make some decisions and nothing seems to be working out for you? Got to get some answers and even the Lord does not seem to be speaking right now? Does this sound like your situation? Well, welcome to the club. Actually, I not trying to be funny, but there are so many people who are going through pretty much the same as you might be right now that I have decided to write something about it as a me...

How gracious You are

Posted by Mark Labuschagne on Thursday, November 4, 2010,

I am so aware of His goodness that it actually overwhelms me when I think of all that Jesus has done and the freedom His word gives to those who love the Lord. There is something awesome about knowing Jesus, being able to serve the One true living God and all this because of what our Savior has done.

My friend, live your life to please Him only. I have come to the place of not doing anything without ensuring that it pleases the One I serve. You see, if you truly love Him, you will make sure t...
