MANY HAVE ENTERED a time of SPIRITUAL DESERT and ISOLATION. I cannot tell you how many times I have prayed for believers who have lost everything (job, house, confidence in the future) and have gone through a very dry time of wondering what God is doing with them. The biblical concept that we sometimes have to lose most of our securities in order to find God has become very real to many American Christians. Many of you reading this blog are now going through a spiritual desert and isolation in which your only hope is God. This is a strong reality that is radically shaping the very foundations of the Church." [- Yves Perriard].
Friend, if you find yourself in a dry and barren place right now, know that God has not forsaken you and as you hold on to His promises, He will make a way where there seems to be no way. Israel walked in the desert for forty years, but God brought them out and it is this promise that you and I must hold on to, He is able to deliver us from every situation. Even if we created it ourselves, for whatever reason, remember, His grace is sufficient for us and He will open our eyes so that we can see Him high and lifted up. As we hold on to this promise, we will see the word come to pass. Just hold on a little longer.
Jesus is the river of Life, He will sustain those who are weary!
