His love conquered all

Romans 8:31-39 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written:

“For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” NO, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

It is absolutely imperative that we understand, it is and has always been about Jesus Christ, His death and more than this, His resurrection from the grave. There was absolutely nothing that would have caused Him, even in this time to become separated from those He has called. In His death, there we find life, in His resurrected life, there we find eternity. When God says that nothing can separate us from this FACT, this endless Truth, then all we have to do is simply believe it.

If you understand who you are IN Christ, then, through faith, we know and believe the Truth that dwells on the inside of every true believers heart so that when we face trails of various kinds, we remain confident in His word. Our confidence is no longer in our abilities, but in His and the only way to do this, is to see ourselves as Christ is. For as He is so am I in this world. We can therefore, confidently declare, we are free of condemnation, free of sin and freed from anything that would be seen as coming between us and our Savior.

1 John 4:1
6 We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; because as He is, so also are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.….

Somehow, we feel we have to do more, we have to do something different, yet, we fail to remember and or understand, that when Jesus said, "It is finished", He actually meant it. There is nothing whatsoever that would make Him feel any different about us church and we are therefore encouraged to remain steadfast in the word.

Do not allow yourself to get caught up with unbelief, for it will destroy you and cause the work that Jesus has completed to be of no affect in you. Rise up mighty man and woman of God and begin to see yourselves as more than conquerors, through Jesus Christ.
