Jesus preached the Good News

Matthew 4:23-25 Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed; and he healed them. Large crowds from Galilee, the Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea and the region across the Jordan followed him.

If it is the Christ that I follow, then there is no other gospel one can proclaim, but the very same one He did and this wherever He went. I love the way in which the word of God shows us that immediately after Jesus came out of the desert, He began to proclaim the good news of the kingdom  to everyone he came in contact with. The other things that I love about his approach was that not only did he preach the good news, but he healed every disease and sickness among the people. Oh, if we are of the same cloth, then surely this should be the desire of every preacher today, to be able to share the good news, but also to heal?

The very words Jesus spoke, still ring clear today, the Kingdom of God is at hand, and the good news, the gospel, the grace of God, to redeem mankind, through the Cross of reconciliation so that we can be called the righteousness of God, free to worship in His presence, a relationship and great value in the kingdom of God.

May our hearts be filled with the good news and may we continue to see signs and wonders in our day, like we have never seen before.

"I am looking for a people, a consecrated people, a people who have bowed their hearts in worship (Surrendered unconditionally to my purpose in them), for I shall cause them to rise up in My name and I shall accomplish My purpose in them" declares the Lord
