Oh the glory...

This weekend, I have sensed the Lord speaking to me about the lost and the need for the Church to step out with increased momentum. Our city has seen a number of successful outreaches take place over the years, and there have been some wonderful things take place that has really created an opportunity for many a sinner to come into the Kingdom of God. However, having said this, I believe there is more to come and I feel God wants His people to step out in faith and accomplish the purpose for which they were called. Jesus instructed His disciples in Mark 16:15 , “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.

Over the years, thousands upon thousands have come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, however, I am convinced that in these last days, we are going to see the gospel spread quicker than before and so, to those who have been called, who have as yet not committed their lives to Christ, it is their time.

I want to encourage you reading this, firstly, if you have never giving your life to Jesus Christ, that you would pray the  prayer at the end of this post with me and that you would believe as you prayed this prayer,  Jesus has now become Lord of your life. And secondly, those of you who are saved, would make a commitment this day to reach out to those around you who might as yet not know Jesus Christ.

Sinners prayer:

Jesus, I acknowledge this day you are the Son of God and that you died to save me from all sin.  Thank you for shedding your blood on the Cross of Calvary in order that I may be reconciled with the Father. Today, I accept you as Lord of my life and ask you to cleanse me of my sin and to take up residence in me, I ask this in your holy name. Amen

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that whoever would believe in Him would be saved.
