To the preacher

“You stand behind the pulpit and teach things that come from your own understanding of my word and have led My people astray. Your messages are designed to suit your own desires and nothing you say pleases Me. Indeed you use My name, but this is in vain. You say all the right things and make your message look great, but it is not My Word.

You have stolen from the poor to enrich yourselves. You have built huge monuments in My name, but I have not instructed you to do so. You say your ministry honors Me, but I see your life and I know the truth. You stand before man and can fool them all the time with your deception, but I see through every action.

You have lined your pockets with gold and silver and preached a popular message, but I have not instructed you to speak. You have twisted My word to suit your teaching, but these are all in vain. You have stolen from My people by the things you teach and have caused them to look to themselves and to you for help, but nothing has come of it because your teachings are false.

The empire you have built in is not pleasing to Me. You have big cars and fancy dwellings, but My people continue to suffer. Therefore I tell you this day, repent for your wickedness is before Me. Turn aside from everything that you continue to do that is not of Me. I am a gracious Father, but if My people who I have called by My name do not turn from their wickedness, I will bring their towers down and scatter them amongst the nations as a sign and a symbol of My wrath.

I am a jealous God and will no longer permit you to lead My people astray. This is the word of the Lord, I have spoken”.

Indeed, I cry out to the Lord, Father forgive your leaders, forgive those who preach a popular message, yet it is one you have not taught. Those who presume to speak in your name, may you be gracious in your dealing with them. We cry out and ask you to forgive us for permitting the deception that has crept into our midst. We cry out to you our God and Savior.  2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
