What a Friend we have in Jesus

1 John 2:1 "My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may be without sin. And if any man is a sinner, we have a friend and helper (Advocate) with the Father, Jesus Christ, the upright one" If you are reading this right now, I trust that the Holy Spirit would touch your understanding to the point that the revelation of Jesus would touch your heart in such a profound way that your life would never be the same again. I have come to learn and understand that Jesus is the very reason why I live. I have no other agenda and or ambition but that my life would be representative of the One I serve. Living in the times that we do, I would have thought that this would be apparent in every believer, but and I say this with absolute respect, worship in this sense seems to be so misunderstood in the Church that it really amazes me. If Jesus is the reason we live, then, He must be the One we worship. In other words, everything we now become, is directed towards the One we honor.
This is what I want you the reader to see, now that we have been crucified with Christ, we have become insensible (No longer influenced by anything around us that would take our minds off of the Christ we now serve 'Worship') to everything else and only see Jesus high and lifted up. Today, Jesus is our Friend, we are attached to Him by His affection for us. He continues to entertain us for sentiments of esteem and respect, which leads us to desire His company and respond to Him with gratitude (Worship). My dear brother and sister in Christ, may our lives, which He has made worthy, be a reflection of Him, my prayer is that our worship would be true and reflect the grace that is Christ in all that we now are...
