You are what you say you are...

You have been striving so long to deal with issues in your life that it has actually brought you to a place of despair. You feel and ask yourself so many times, "What is the use of trying, when nothing seems to make a difference" and you continue to struggle with the same problems over and over again. You feel that your actions, your finances and everything else in the middle are not working out and so the frustration of it all just seems to get worse. Thousands struggle with similar issues and think there is no victory, BUT, I have good news for you. Jesus said, "I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble, But take heart! I have overcome the world"

We have to understand a few things here. First and foremost, in our own strength, we will never be able to overcome anything. I choose to believe, it is the Christ in us that has given us the ability to overcome even the  "smaller" issues we struggle with. It is by the power of the Holy Spirit who now dwells in us that has enabled us to overcome ALL things. This my friend, includes every physical, spiritual and emotional area even where strife seems to be the order of the day.

You might say, I don't feel like an overcomer and continue to look at yourself and think that you cannot possibly overcome, but this day, I declare this to be a lie from the enemy as it remains the devils plan to keep you from seeing yourself as Christ sees you and when we fall into this trap, we are drawn into self and nothing else seems to make a difference. Therefore, I challenge you this day to look past yourself, to look beyond your flesh and the things that pull you down and to lift your eyes off of self and to begin to look to Jesus.

He is our Savior, and He has liberated us from the law, from sickness, disease and poverty and given us the right to stand before His throne with a boldness that only He can give, enabling us to declare that we are MORE than conquerors. Romans 8:37 "No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us". If you continue to listen to the lies of the enemy, you will remain captive to his lies and deceit and shamefully remain there for as long as you do. Nevertheless, we have an advocate, His name is Jesus and it is He who has declared you blameless and free. Therefore, choose this day to walk in the freedom of the Cross, choose this day to come out of the darkness into His marvelous light and choose this day to see yourself redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb and worship Him only

Secondly, the best way to transform your mind is by spending time in the
Word of God. You do well to study the book of Romans over and over again. In fact, I have challenged many of my friends to spend the next three months reading the book of Romans from beginning to the end and then to go back to the beginning of Chapter one through to Chapter sixteen and to repeat it over again and to continue doing so until their hearts have been transformed and renewed.

I am telling you this day, the only way to overcome all your struggles is by FAITH. Your faith in God's ability will revolutionize your heart, soul and body and will bring all things in line with His precious word, so much so that you will never recognize yourself again. For as we spend time in the word, we will soon come to the realization that we NO longer live, but Christ now lives His life through us. Gal 2:20 "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me". This my friend is the TRUTH and we know that the word of God that Jesus said in John 8:32 "Then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free".

Go on, I dare you to place your trust in His ability, to stop trying to so to accomplish something you will never be able to get right on your own. All you might have done is suppressed the symptoms but only Jesus can set you free. So we conclude this day, we need to be cleansed and this can only happen, when we believe that Jesus has already paved the way for us to walk and live victorious lives. Spend time in His presence, spend time in His word and spend time in prayer, you will find the effort you lived now becomes effortless and honorable and pure.

Grace, peace and love to you this day in Jesus name...
